The Covid-19 pandemic and subsequent restrictions led to substantial changes in children and families’ lives. WWCSC and the Early Intervention Foundation looked at how local authorities' children's services adapted in response to the pandemic. In December 2020, we completed our interim report which included a rapid review of the evidence of “what works” in relation to practice adaptations.
The report examines the effectiveness and impact of a new approach to mental health assessments for looked after children, piloted by 9 local areas.
