The Covid-19 pandemic is being accompanied by a sharp rise in demand for mental health services. Whilst high quality clinical services are vital in addressing rising needs, the size and nature of the challenge means that treatment alone cannot manage this crisis.

This is a report from a housing perspective about the use of technology in housing for older people and about integrating housing, care and technology. For me, as someone who worked with older people for many years, its important that these issues are understood well in the social care spaces hence its inclusion here.

Although an understanding of the lived experience of foster care relationships can provide valuable information to guide social work practice and policy, few such studies have been carried out.
