Introduction
Eid Mubarak to all who celebrate! And a Happy Mother’s Day to all who recognise it - with thoughts of course, to those for whom it is a difficult day, for many reasons, each unique. As we come to the end of the month in which World Social Work Day is acknowledged, we move into the Spring. There’s a lot going on so I won’t keep you with an intro but just say thank you to you all for allowing me time and space in your inbox. Please let me know if you have any suggestions/feedback and also a quick request to share with colleagues/friends who might be interested!
One last thing - I have contributed alongside some amazing people (much better than me) including social workers, social work academics, social work managers and perhaps, most importantly, people who have had social workers in their lives to this book - The Anti-Racist Social Worker in Practice which is published on 7 April - and if you use code 25ESA2 you get 20% off!
