Introduction
Welcome and Welcome Back to all. I know I’ve had a few new subscriptions recently so thought it might be helpful to explain that when I add links, it is on the basis of ‘interesting things I have found’ during any given week - the pieces might not be ‘new’ that week, as happens this week when I came across a piece shared on X which was written in 2016, but no less relevant today. I’d also draw any social work students’ attention to the BASW event specifically for students and if you aren’t a student, do pass details on as it looks like a great opportunity which is free for social work students (and only social work students).
Talking about free events, I’ll be at Community Care Live next week (on Wednesday). It is in person and it is in London but if you have the opportunity, it’s always a great learning event.
Lastly for anyone who may be celebrating, wishing you a sweet Jewish New Year which is celebrated this week. Shana Tovah.
