Introduction
Thank you to all the new (and well-established) subscribers. I really appreciate your support! If you are able to spread the word with colleagues/friends/anyone you think might be interested, that would be great. Because I’ve had a few new subscribers this week (thanks to Facebook comment!), I’ll reiterate that all the content in my newsletters is free to access, events are almost exclusively accessible online and all research articles are open access and I avoid paywalled content (if it does sneak in, it’s human error on my part).
I don’t often include pieces or articles that I have personal input into - although there have been some exceptions. Today is one such exception but the quality of the writing that isn't mine (my input is minimal and inconsequential) made me loath to exclude it on that basis.
As always, I welcome any feedback/suggestions/comments - either on the post or by replying to the email.
Reminder that I will be away from home for a few weeks in October/November (not all consecutive weeks) so there will be a few gaps in delivery over that period .
Have a good week
