Introduction
It’s been quite a busy week for me, settling into a new job and all that entails, including a shift back to working in an office every day rather than working from home. Apologies in advance if some of the updates are a bit slower as I fall into a different rhythm. I am, above all, so grateful that I can be in a more direct social work role. I missed it a lot.
I hope all is well with you, as recipients. I am considering a few changes as I move forward, but the things that won’t change are the frequency of publication and this will always remain free and promote links which are free (open access for research and events which online/free).
I have always been committed to providing links with no editorialising. I neither agree nor disagree with any content provided, but find it interesting. I am wondering, to be honest, if that’s what people like or might prefer a longer preamble/introduction with a few thoughts or reflections as I go.
I would welcome any feedback/suggestions as I evolve the newsletter. I’m grateful to all new (and longstanding) subscribers - please do share with anyone you think might be interested.
Have a good week
